In the course of the expansion of our team we are looking for a
Data Scientist - Statistiker (w/m)
Preferably full-time (optionally part-time)
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Work in a young and dynamic team of Data, Software and Petroleum Engineers
· Develop analytical and statistical models to address the problems of our customers
· Apply state-of-the-art data analysis and data mining approaches, such as regression, classification, clustering, machine learning, Bayesian networks etc.
· Design and implement (prototypical) solutions (in languages such as R)
· Collaborate with and advise our Software engineers to integrate these data mining solutions into our software products
· Consult our customers to efficiently work together on a solution
Your Profile:
· Master in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Informatics or similar studies (alternatively Bachelor with professional experience)
· Solid expertise in Statistics, Data Analysis, Data Mining
· Analytical thinking
· Solution-oriented approach to Problem-solving
· Proficient in spoken and written English
· Knowledge of R Statistical Programming language or comparable
· Preferably: IT knowledge (other programming languages, SQL, SCRUM …)
