We’re looking for a passionate individual with a working knowledge of WordPress, content management systems, and SEO to join our IT team.

This position is part time, and ideal for a student looking to build their CV with work experience alongside their studies. In addition, this position offers an Unlimited Membership to Impact Hub Vienna, the opportunity to learn more about social entrepreneurship, and access to our community of 600+ founders, creatives, and techies and our global network.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day to day needs of the Impact Hub Vienna website including adding new content, making adjustments to the template, and creating new features in coordination with the Marketing Lead.
• Manage our webserver and databases (hosted by various providers – no own dedicated server infrastructure).
• Support managing our IT network infrastructure.
• Maintain the integrity of the website’s architecture and optimize as necessary.
• Create a documentation related to web assets, architecture, and processes.
• Ensure high website performance and responsiveness.
• Work with Marketing Lead to maintain and improve website SEO.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• A working understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with debugging tools like Chrome inspector, Firebug, etc.
• Ability to manage IT network infrastructure and maintain a website on a hosted server infrastructure.
• Understanding of website aesthetics and how to maintain visual brand integrity on our site.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

• Hours: 8 / 10 Hours a week with flexible schedule
• Payment: Min. gross monthly salary according to collective agreement: 381,76 EUR. Overpayment within the limits of the geringfügige Beschäftigung available.

Wir haben generell sehr flexible Arbeitszeiten und auch Homeoffice ist möglich wenn man einmal nicht vom Impact Hub aus arbeiten kann/will - ich denke aber dass vorallem das Arbeiten in der Community ein großer Gewinn sein kann (und bei der limitierten Wochenstundenzahl es wichtig sein wird auch für meetings mit dem Team etc im Hub zu sein).
