The 21st century is the century of Asia and India the hotspot for the worldwide service industry. In the last ten years India has become a major competence centre in the field of IT, software, engineering and technology.
India represents not only a huge market to source high-quality engineering services, but also a large domestic market which is of increasing interest for a range of European companies.
Plenty of Austrian hi-tech companies are already active in the Indian market.
Indescon e.V. & Maya ONE offer Austria's first internship programme focussing India. Our mission is to provide students the opportunity to do their internships in Indian companies.

About us
Maya ONE and Indescon are faciliators between India and Germany/Austria fostering Indo-European business relations.
Indescon (the Indo-German Software Competence Network) is an association of German and Indian software companies that view India and Germany/Austria as potential export and sourcing markets.
Maya ONE (Organisation New Entrepreneurship) builds the bridge between Europe and India. Its members represent an exclusive group of consultants and entrepreneurs from Austria, Germany and India which offer their services as virtual organisation to their customers.
Kinds of internships
- we offer various technical as well as non-technical (e.g. marketing, HR...) internships within the Indian IT- & software industry
- all internships are duly paid to cover living expenses, flight & accommodation
- we have partner companies all over India
Preconditions
- minimum duration of internships: 3 months
- the students have to proof a certain level of qualification (3 semesters minimum)
- good knowledge of English language is required

- Letter of motivation (A4 page)
- CV: Curriculum Vitae
- Transcripts of records of completed course-work in your current study programme
Steps to Placement
The following steps will lead to your internship in India
- Submit your preliminary application
- Evaluation of submitted documents
- Interview with the Maya ONE internship coordinator
- Maya ONE will offer you various internships, each including the respective Indian companies terms & conditions (ex. period of internship, pay, accommodation ...)
- Telephone interview with your host company
- Acceptance by host company and formal offer
Application Expenses
- Submission fee of €50 (incl. VAT) at the time of submission of application
- Placement fee of another €50 (incl. VAT) at the time of placement (matching of candidate and host company in India)
