The American International School in 1190 Vienna serves 800 students from 53 different countries. The IT department of five people has a friendly atmosphere and an excellent work environment. The daily duties vary from the routine, to more challenging and interesting projects. The work schedule would be one day per week during the school year, with some flexibility to fit in with university exams.

The ideal candidate would be
• A student studying Computer Science or related field with strong emphasis on practical applications
• Able to converse fluently in English
• Have a friendly manner and interpersonal skills suited to a customer-service oriented IT helpdesk
• Be available during the summer on an hourly paid basis to assist in the processing and setup of 300 new computers

Duties Include:
• Processing of new and re-issued computers (unpacking, recording inventory, imaging with Symantec Ghost, joining domain etc.)
• General IT end-user support (not telephone) – variety of software questions and issues from students and teachers. MS Office 2007, Windows XP and 7, Symantec AV
• Development of projects based on our needs and your areas of expertise
