For the in-house developed software COSSAN-X (COmputational Stochastic Structural Analysis) a Java-based GUI is to be developed. The implementation should provide the following features:
1. Input data editor (tree-structure)
2. Interaction with Finite-Element Pre-Processors Abaqus, Ansys and MSC.Patran
a. Transfer of geometry, mesh and material/element property data
b. Data exchange modality: files or Pre-Processor command language (e.g. Python)
3. Workflow panel for execution and management of solution sequences
4. Results representation (spreadsheets, visualization)
Pre-requisites are advanced Java programming skills and experience in GUI development (e.g. with Java Swing library).
The employment modality may be either a free-lance contract (Werkvertrag), a Master thesis (through the Informatics department at the University of Innsbruck) or as a staff member ("Projektmitarbeiter").
