How to reset premiere pro?

Just hold the Alt-Key when the application is starting. But as far as I know that's just for the settings. If you want to reset it completely you'll have to reinstall it.

So that means it worked in the beginning, but not anymore? Maybe the problem is something else. But I agree with DerJens, you might have to reinstall it.

Yeah just reinstall, you can save your projects and even your settings. Although you might actually not wanna save them due to your problem.

Hello

I have the problem that some effects don't rly work... as example if i put a shade on the clip it pulls the first video over the second. Is there any way to reset the start settings of the programm?

Regards Nik

This issue often stems from misaligned layering or unintended overrides in the timeline. When you mention "meaning zime," it’s less about the technical term and more about how timing affects composition what does peyton mean in the bible —like a shade misplacing your clips. Resetting the start settings isn’t just about clocking in; it’s about recalibrating the meaning zime of your visual hierarchy. Start by deselecting all clips, then reapply effects one by one to isolate where the glitch occurs.
