    Hello all,

    I found ur forum's when I surfed through the net looking for help for my problem.
    I recently bought a new PC, 3 GHZ AMD, with 512 MB Ram, 160 GB HD, nVidia GeForce FX 5200.
    After 1 month or so I finally managed to get internet only to have my PC instantly attacked by by W32 and destroying everything, so I had to /format c:
    Well, after reinstalling Windows XP Home Edition, the XP-Office and all the Firewall, and Antivirus programs, I managed to get my internet back and hoped to finally be able to play my favorite games again.
    Need 4 Speed: Underground, MidnightClub2, Everquest, Majestic Chess...
    I downloaded Directx.9b, and the 5.4.6.4 version for my graphic card...I turned the frequency of my monitorfrom 65HZ to 85Hz.
    But whenever I load one of these games, all I get is a terrible disco show...:
    Instead of the text I can only see horizontal bars and I got light blue triangles flickering like crazy...
    I ran the dxdiag.exe file and everything should be fine...
    I tried deinstalling the new version of the graphic driver and kept the 5.3.0.3 version of it, but nothing...
    It works fine with games like Baldur's Gate 1 and Tzar though...
    I have run out of ideas, plz can anyone help?

    P:S U can answer in german too if u like, I got a friend who can translate it for me.
