The Forschungszentrum Telekommunikation Wien (FTW) is a dynamic company with an international atmosphere that carries out application-oriented research in telecommunications. Currently we are hiring for the following position:
Engineer for Networked Application Development (f/m)
We are seeking an ambitious engineer with experience in application prototyping and the development of interactive systems who is willing to contribute to research projects in the fields of Quality of Experience Assessment and Mobile Applications Research
How you can contribute:
- Design and develop applications for traffic telematics and pervasive computing scenarios
- Develop tools and test environments for user-centric quality assessment
- Present results and demos at our company partners
- Contribute to the scientific work in the area of Human-Computer Interaction

What you should offer:
- Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Media Informatics)
- Experience in the object-oriented development of desktop and Web applications
- Experience in mobile application development (of advantage)
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Creative problem solving, good communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English
